Anybody got any basic advise for playing Razz.

Haven't found too much on here or elsewhere.

I am finding these games pretty easy and have kind of been winging it.

I have been folding all hole & third streets cards with one higher than 8
unless I get the bring in and 4ht street is low.

Other than that I just watch the other hands and see where I stand.
and bet or call accordingly.

Anything I'm missing here.

Thanks,

I think one mistake I have been making (playing 2/4 HORSE) is to RAISE when trying to steal. ftrain suggest just calling and hoping to get HU against the bring in.

In general though - stealing is bad when players are loose.

It also increases the pot size making they're loose calls more correct. This applies more to raising on 4th than stealing from the bring-in. Id still rather raise, and play accordingly.

How is it a steal if you're only calling?

You should be "stealing" in razz a lot more than other stud games, since it's usually the case that the bring-in cannot have much of a hand.
