so i just recently have started playing razz online. FISHY!!

but then i got to thinking, Razz isn't exactly a game of immense poker skills. You sit around, wait for 3 cards under 7, then put some money in, and the rest of the hand plays itself.

Surely if you anyone ever does make online poker bots, this is the poker.

Am i missing something about this game, or is it really as easy as i think it is?

I'm not a Razz expert, but I'm willing to bet you're missing something.

There is a little more to it, but I'm told it's the most mechanical widely played game.

yep, certainly felt a bit boring and mechanical when i've been playing it lately. But people seem to call with the craziest things that i can only assume that it's a got to be a profitable game to play.

So i'd really like to play a couple more sessions and see if there's anything to my razz theories, but if anyone here can shed some light on razz strategy, i'd love to hear it.

Skylansky gives a breakdown of the game in one of his books. There is also some Razz content in Super System 1.

What stakes are you playing?

Most low stakes games are fairly mechanical IMO because the opposition is soo bad but calls too much for you to get tricky.

low low stakes yeah.

.50/1 i've found the most profitable way for me to play it is just to raise raise when i have the best of it. Seeing guys keep calling raises when they have 3 pictures on the board is mindblowing
