Villain is tight aggressive thinking player. His went to showdown% is 19% and his post flop aggression is 3.29. My image is squeaky clean, sitting on 2.5 buyins.
Note the stack sizes here; my river bet is $311 - almost full pot. Do I make him lay down enough hands that have me beat to push it in? I think his likely holding is a straight draw + 2 spades, or AAxx maybe 2 spades. I think he's so aggressive he would have raised already with a set/top 2. I think he will lay down a bare AA.
Shameless plug: I'm running an operation thread in Poker Etcetera and the game is exclusively Omaha high and 8/split. If people have time or want to discuss more hands, check it out!
I also can't make the hand converter work... any tips?

I like it. He doesn't have TT or KK here ever since those hands would pump it all in on the turn. 88 is unlikely since that would make quads. Sometimes villain has 44 here and looks us up, but most of the time I think he has to lay this down unless he has seen us run this line with a draw before. Since your image is squeeky clean, I don't think he can call with AA or 2 pair here.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Villain thinks for about 10 seconds and folds
Quite nerve racking as this was the biggest river bluff I'd run in Omaha as I'm only just beginning to learn where to play aggressively with a draw.

Does this work *because* there are no possible straights/flushes or *despite* it?

A little bit of both, depending on the situation. In this case, because no str8/flush draws came through and it looks like villain is on a draw, we can rep a full house here pretty easily. This often works since the villain won't usually be able to call and look you up, unless he gets stubborn with something like A8xx.
All in all, just another reason to play a big draw fast. Get there and you bet the nuts, miss and you can still make them fold sometimes

I like every street except pre-flop and you've seen the sorts of crap hands I'll play.
I don't like playing marginal/crappy/hanger kind of hands out of position and I don't like getting into a pot with this guy out of position.

I don't think pre flop matter that much in Omaha. That said, I like this hand. I like hands with Ax suited + some combination of straight potential. If you flop the NFD, you often have at least a gutshot straight draw on top of that and you can drive the betting with it. In position I'd even raise it.
Zenbitz:
I would not bluff the river if the flush hit. Obviously if the straight hits I'm betting it. It's possible my hand was good, but villain could have 1 pair + board pair and I really need to fold him out
