Think i should have raised the flop to clear up my overcard outs and maybe get a free card, since I have the backdoor flush and straight draws.

ChezJ is an unknown quantity at this point
the pot is tiny. you would be getting 3.5:1 on your raise, terrible odds for a tainted draw (discount the J/T). call or fold.

I probably fold preflop.

But finding myself in this mess, I think I call and see a turn card rather than raising. In this hand a bad turn card can make your hand completely worthless to the point where you won't even need to see a river.
TylerK: its just gambling if i want to worry about money i'll go to work lol

Why do you even get into the hand with JT UTG+1?
Your position sucks, your cards might not be live (some of your straights are blocked by big cards) making a pair you might have kicker trouble, and the only thing you got going for you is being suited

You have bad position, your overcard outs are likely to be dominated, and there is a flush draw. So, you'll either win a small pot, or lose a big one.
