I just thought of another simple method for getting pot odds quickly at the table. Take your hand value in outs and multiply by the # of bets in the pot. Compare that # to 47 (the # unkown cards left after the flop). If it is right at 47 you are getting even odds. Above, you are getting better than even odds. If the # is under 47, the difference give you an idea of what your implied odds need to be to call.
Example: You have a 7 out hand, and there are 5 bets in the pot. 7x5 is 35, so you have less than even pot odds on your draw. 47-35 is 12. Divide that by the # of outs you have, and you get about 1.5, which is the # of bets short you are of having pot odds, and corresponds to the bets you need to expect to win later in the hand to have correct implied odds.
I'm sure a lot of people won't like this, but some of you that like to do the quick arithmetic in your head can get an exact # to go by without having to deal with any fractions.

Well if you figure that 12/6 would be 2 then 12/7 would be around 1.8 or so you can kind of figure it out based on the next closest number you do know...
Or you can just memorize odds like I did...
