I'm about to deposit 500 into gamesgrid to capitalize on my 1000% bonus.

You have to play at least 1/2 limit for the rake to take affect and begin clearing the bonus.

When you guys say at least 300 bb's, $1 /2 limit, the small blind is .50 cents and the big blind is $1, so in that case, i'd have 500 bb's right ?

Or by big blind, do u mean the $2. B/c in the game, the big blind is 1, yet the limits move up on the river. So i'm confused.

Also, would this be that risky 3-tabling 1/2 even with the huge gradual bonus payout ?

You need $600 to have the 300BB rule I believe.

The limit forum is a better place to post this.

300 BB is 300 Big Bets, not 300 Big Blinds. So to play 1/2, you would need $600 using the 300BB rule.

1. that game is tough.
2. BB is big bet in this case so 1/2 you need 2 * 300 = 600
3. with vfp and the bonus you should get around 3-4BB/100 if you single table... but you need to account for variance. you don't have to deposit your whole bankroll on a site... you just need to have the cash set aside, so when you loose $200 in an evening, you won't freak out ... it's an awful awful 100BB swing, but not 1/2 your BR
4. that game is tough.

i think the 4BB/100 subsidy makes it worth it.. learning to play a solid game and still making money. very cool.

Well, I can hold my own. I just wasn't really sure about the whole 300 bb rule. I normally play .25 / .50 limit on stars, plus i've been bonus whoring lately. At stars, my bankroll has never hit more than a 40 bb downswing and I've been playing there a while.

I figured even if I do hit a big downswing, the bonus will help me to bring me right back up. Ideally, I'm hoping to make a few thousand from the deal.

I debating about 3-tabling the 1/2 tables at gamesgrid with a 500 bankroll. I've read the 'online casino's' forum about the 1000% bonus on this site and there's a few players that deposit 500 and are 3 and 4 tabling.

I've never 3-tabled at higher limits before. I was just wondering if you all would recommend 3-tabling to clear the bonus quicker or not.

There is never 3 1/2 tables going at gamesgrid, so you wont have to worry about that right now. I am 6 tabling 3/6 there....sometimes more, and the bonus only clears at about 3 bux an hour per table. At 1/2 I think it would take a LONG time to clear. Have you signed up yet? The games play about as tough as the party 5/10, its no cakewalk, they are beatable if you dont play weak tight like most of the players on their.

I've already signed up, just haven't deposited yet. I have finals next week and I'm waiting for some withdrawls to clear from other poker sites into neteller so i can deposit. I know, there aren't ever 3 tables of 1/2. There's only 1 there as we speak.

The tables are very tight I see. We'll just have to see how things go. I'm not weak tight, that doesn't make money no matter what table u play at.
