Ive been working with pokerfanatic reviewing some hand histories, and he's turned me on to some mistakes i'm making. Anyway, I'm UTG here.

Eupho3: 9c 9d

Pre-flop:

Eupho3 calls. RoyBatty folds. jemalv6 folds.
lonedog folds. aussiebattler folds. heylittlepoke
folds. Pessimism folds. tutawapiga folds.
Barbara714 calls. Conman9ball raises to $1. Eupho3
calls.
Barbara714 calls.

Flop (board: 4s Jc 6s):

Barbara714 checks. Conman9ball checks. Eupho3 bets
$.50.
Barbara714 calls. Conman9ball calls.

Turn (board: 4s Jc 6s 2s):

Barbara714 checks. Conman9ball checks. Eupho3 bets
$1.
Barbara714 raises to $2. Conman9ball folds.
Eupho3 folds. Barbara714 is returned
$1 (uncalled).

Now i think this is exactly the thing fanatic was talking about. I knew someone was on the flush draw, but the pre flop raise/check threw me off a bit.

Im thinking bet the flop, check the turn. Maybe even check both, but I don't mind the flop bet so much.

You could raise preflop if you wanted to, otherwise the hand looks good. Especially the turn, bet/fold is MUCH better than check/fold.
TylerK: its just gambling if i want to worry about money i'll go to work lol

Im pretty sure I know the answer, but fanatic has shown me im making a lot of mistakes, so I need to make sure.

Why is that bet ok?

I figure its because at the least I could represent a flush, and maybe get them to fold it. If reraised, drop it, (like I did). But if called -- I'm kinda in a shiatty position. Check fold I guess...

In fact, at this point I'm pretty much folding to any reraise where I'm not holding something atleast close to the nuts. These guys just don't do it without the goods.
<Staxalax> Honestly, #flopturnriver is the one thing that has improved my game the most.
