From what I remember at UB (about a year ago), the UB games were tighter and a little bit tougher. Got a link for that p5 thread about prima? I'd like to take a look since I think I have some money on one or two prima sites still.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Oh, I assumed that it was prima since it's about the only major network that I've had somewhat bad experiences with.

I skimmed through that UB thread and it just sounds like some idiots bitching randomly about things. The OP really sounds like a tool and is very likely just making stuff about about being "f'd out of 10,000". If he actually lost 10 grand because of UB, he'd have made a real sob story and raised way more of a stink than a poorly composed post like that.

The point about disconnect protect is valid though, people can and do abuse that. Often without any reprimand from the site staff. I've never encountered abuse like that on UB, but did once on a tiny site I was doing a promotion on. Support didnt even email me back, so I withdrew my money and never went back. Most of the bigger sites don't even have disconnect protect on their tables, which is the way I like it.

I wouldn't worry about UB going under or allowing cheaters to run rampant on their site. Your money is safe on there if that's where you want to continue playing.
