PokerStars 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q. Hero posts a blind of $0.02.
Hero (poster) raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (10 SB) A, 4, T (5 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero calls, UTG+2 folds, MP3 calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 5 (4 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, MP3 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (13 BB) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB folds.

Final Pot: 15 BB

Okay, somebody tell me why I would call the flop and raise the turn (other than the flush draw). In retrospect I think I should have raised the flop and folded if someone pushed back. Either that or just fold when someone bets into me as PF raiser after the ace flops.

I see one other reason why I misplayed the hand: it was the first hand of the session (I posted) and I wasn't ready for a premium hand that fizzled on the flop. Memo: "Must be ready to hit ground running."

ok, you know what you did wrong.
pre-flop all good, once the ace flops with this many callers your hand is mush, but you may be able to win the pot repping aa/ak/aq.. re-raise or fold the flop, probably fold.
Turn??? and river you must be pretty sure that SB is playing to check-call, and has an ace...

I wouldn't bet the river. You probably could just let this one go on the flop.

12:1 on the flop, I peel and look for a club or queen. Hell even a jack or king gives us a gutshot...
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Why?

This reeks of ZOMG QUEENS AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THESE FISH WHO CAN'T EVEN SPELL POKER SUCKED OUT ON ME.

Only way I call this flop is if I think there is a good chance I have the best hand.

Against 4 opponents i'm almost always puke-folding QQ on this flop. Chasing the Q and backdoor flush and straight draws is not worth it imo. That's 5 outs total and it will cost you at least 1.5 BB to chase one of those bd draws to the river (more if someone raises the flop or turn). 5% of the time you'll hit a Q on the turn and even then you're still vulnerable to a flush or straight redraw, or behind to someone with KJ. Even if you're somehow ahead on the flop, any pair has 5 outs twice to beat you and a FD has 9.

If my opponents were extremely horrible and would all call to the river regardless and it was only one bet on each street, I'd consider calling it down. But I'd need a shower afterwards.

Btw, raising the turn is more -EV than folding QQ preflop.

...and once I have to overcall I should know that I don't have the best hand.

I needed a shower anyway after stepping in this, and I think my turn bet was the worst of all the mistakes in this hand.
