Final Pot: 25 BB

A few thins.......Is leading the flop here bad?I accomplished my goal of a capped flop but was I running the risk of it being raised too soon behind me and thus driving out customers?

Also, was the river lead bad?And should I give anyone credit for the nut flush?i.e. what are the odds you hold the second best flush long term? Thanks guuys.

Easy flop raise.

CO clearly has a flush, but we have the 2nd nut. With the Button hanging onto his cards with a death-grip, I like the 3-bet, but I'm checking CO's stats first because that's just the kind of guy I am...

I agree with fnord here, you may be behind, but the chances of him capping with a straight/two pair/set here are too high with that other guy in the pot to not raise.

he either has a NINE high or a KING high flush
if CO doesn't think 9 high flush takes it down here, you might think of folding
but most people don't think of how high their flush is when they use both cards

I would be fine going all the way with the 2nd nut flush here. Even if villian has the K of Spades, he needs to have another spade in his hand to beat you.

i always have a problem of raising flop on a four flush draw in early position like UTG or UTG+1. with so many people behind us, we want a lot of customers in while we are drawing.

1) are we raising from utg on flop because we are sure enough people will call

2) are we raising for buying outs (Q).

3) if we had 2 small spades here do we still raise from UTG or utg+1

thanks.

Fnord, why are you raising the flop with the SB opening and 3 more people to act behind you? At this point we're playing for our flush and Axs and Kxs is coming along regardless, no? Or are we raising hoping to push them out?

Yeah, raising the flop = bad until its raised back to you and you know who is sticking around. I like the way he played his flop.

I wouldn't mind taking this one heads-up with the SB and clean up any Q outs. Check the turn for a free card if we catch air. If anyone else wants to come in for 2 bets, that's cool too.
