I have questions on all streets...well, except the river. UTG+1 is our esteemed colleague. UTG is a 49/0 fish.
PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (10 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q , J .
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, 6 folds, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.
Flop: (8 SB) K , 2 , 9 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG calls.
Turn: (5.50 BB) K (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks.
River: (5.50 BB) Q (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls.
Final Pot: 7.50 BB
Pre-flop: This call seems a tad light but the ITH charts would call Q8s with two other callers.
Flop: I'm getting 9:1 with a gutshot and a BDFD. With implied odds that seems to approach a raise, and a c/r would probably get rid of UTG.
Turn: Gutshot and 2nd nut FD, I planned to c/c as there doesn't seem to be enough value for a bet.
River: Missed the big draws, caught 2nd pair but "villain" could have a King. I had seen four prior PFRs and I'm ahead of three of them. Seems like I should have gone c/c on this one.
Thoughts?

Villain has a K here almost never. No way he is checking that turn with trips when the are now 2 flush draws+gutshot draws against 2 flop callers.
River I like a bet-fold line. He will look us up a lot with mid pps since our line looks like a missed flush.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

nh, I like c/r the turn against someone you know and who you feel can fold his middle pp's here.

Preflop: I'd be happy to call a raise with QJs here 4 ways. AKT comes on the board you're getting paid off big time. KT9 could be nice too. Flush possibilities are always a plus.
Flop: i prefer a call here as it preserves your implied odds. Getting 9:1 is just barely enough to call with only 3 clean outs. With three opponents a c/r is a bit much imo.
Turn: Semi-bluff c/r is sexy against tight player. Having it check around is not bad either.
River: Arborman's not that dumb to check a King on the turn. My guess is he had AQ/JJ/TT. On the balance of probabilities, b/f seems right.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A , Q .
UTG calls, Hero raises, 6 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.
Flop: (8 SB) K , 2 , 9 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.
Turn: (5.50 BB) K (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.
River: (5.50 BB) Q (3 players)
BB bets, UTG folds, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 7.50 BB
Flop was standard IMO - c-bet, decent chance I'm ahead etc. FWIW I knew HTL was a strong player and might be checkraising me on the turn - so I checked behind. I also would have played his hand exactly the same way as he did.
If he had bet into the turn I likely would have folded my second pair, because I could easily see him calling a pf raise with KQs or KJs. River was worth a call (but not a raise because he may well have planned a checkraise on the turn). Anything but a queen or ace and I likely would have folded to a bet from HTL.

Well, thank you.
I think you hold my play in higher esteem than I do!!! I want to become a strong player but I have a long, long way to go.
