Flop: (7 SB) 8 , 6 , T (7 players)
SB bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, CO calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, CO calls, Hero caps, SB calls, BB calls $2 (All-In), UTG calls, CO calls.

Nice table.
I see people try this same play in 3-4 way pots where your str8 draw isn't really getting any value. But in this pot with a rainbow you probably have enough equity to pump it. Although, I would just call the SB's 3 bet because I want him driving while I'm drawing and you have no chance of folding out the field anyway.

I thought of that, he might have led the turn and I could have trapped the field for 2 big bets. the problem i saw was if my 7 hit it would put 4 to a straight on the board and a set/two pair would most likely check. So I figured to get the raises in while I could.

I ought to fire up PokerStove and solve this one, but the sort of it is that I don't think your cap generates a whole lot of value.

I find it funny that KJo would be better off if he mucked his hand on the flop and had the dealer give him 2 new cards.
