fold pre flop the first time, this is a really bad hand 4 way OOP. you could obv play it vs the fish HU

from there you probably have to play I guess although the fact that no one 4 bet worries me because you're sort of hating life vs a bunch of run downs and flush draws. but at least now you can be OK felting combo draws whereas if it's just a raised pot and you get your stack in with this hand you'll often end up dominated or getting free rolled.

unless the shorty is really terrible you can anticipate this sequence because he pretty much won't limp something he doesn't want to shove esp vs the whale. limping into the lag is shorty 101

And as a side question, if im ever in UTG's spot here, is it worth shoving knowing pretty much everyone will call?

I fold to the 3bet preflop. In a multiway pot we want to be at least drawing to some kind of nut hand, I would way way way rather have something like A678ss than K965ds. As you saw, even if you hit a near miracle flop, all it takes is someone to show up with A6xx and you are chasing your kickers.

As played I don't think we can fold the flop in a pot this bloated. If someone has us crushed by one of three hands (JJxx, A6xx, J6xx) so be it.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

yeah I forgot to talk about flop. it's a fold if everyone is sane, but even the whale in I would guess BU has you beat a lot. I guess he had the worst played AA ever? you can add him to your donk list for sure.

yes, UTG is in a great spot because he'll almost surely have OK equity plus you guys can still bet each other out later. Slotbooms books, esp the first one, talk a lot about short stacks, worth a read just for that so you see how they (should) think. Generally I don't think it works well in 6 max (neither does he) but people still try it. the core of his strat is sit to the lagg's right and let him do all the betting.

calling the first raise makes no sense then, once we call you should be happy it was 3 bet for exactly the reasons you state, this is a low SPR hand
