Here is a hand where you can play it terribly preflop, but still get VERY good odds to draw. I could've gone for a river check/raise, but the pot was already big enough to where I didn't care.
PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is BB with A , T .
UTG raises, MP 3-bets, CO =#A500AF(LAggmeister)/ calls, 1 fold, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG calls.
Flop: (15 SB) K , A , Q (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, LAggmeister bets, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG raises, MP calls, LAggmeister calls, SB calls, Hero calls.
Turn: (12.50 BB) 3 (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, LAggmeister calls, SB calls, Hero calls.
River: (17.50 BB) J (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, MP calls, LAggmeister folds, SB calls.
Final Pot: 20.50 BB

I'm just wondering here, one of these guys is AK/AQ right? Most likely UTG. Is it still worth drawing to the jack if that's the case? The Ten can't help you here.
The thing that throws me is all the crazy action. Maybe having a family pot like this makes the top pair and draw worth it?
After the reraise preflop, then the flop aggression, I gotta let this go... but when I read the HH with all the action between you and the bettors I can't see a reasonable spot to do so.
I take it you won since there was no re-raise from the other Ten's on the river.

Call me crazy (and I know all of you will) but I would actually really think about raising this turn. Bring all the -EV comments but I believe I have plenty of outs here and my hand still has some showdown value. If I raise here I might get any jack to fold and make my 10 live for two pair. Its pretty marginal but you will not be making anyone cold call any bets. I think raising the turn allows you to win the hand more often than just calling, especially if you get 3bet and force everyone else to cold call 2 bets.
Oh yea, fold PF
