I was hoping to find 10 guys willing to dedicate a saturday evening once a month to sit down, and play microstakes for 1-2 hours
with the intention of playing and analyzing sessions played against really good players without the cost of playing at the nosebleed levels.
Having 10 guys that take the game seriously and play as if they are playing 10/20 and not .01/.02 and analyzing the whole game afterwards would HAVE to be beneficial over the long run.
It would allow us to test strategies, and maybe bring some interest back to the Limit Forum.

10 guys who are playing at whatever limit they are playing at, dedicate a night to play .01/.02 once a month.
at the end of the session we post a manditory number of hands per person, and we all comment on the good/bad, and ugly of each play.
Playing as a scholar instead of as a player.
Hell, we could do it for practice chips now that I think about it.

i kinda like the idea of study circles and they are amazingly useful regarding theory of learning. I wouldnt have made it through university without them.
no intention to hijack your thread (though to hitchhike it ):
Even if there are less than ten people interested: lets keep this thread alive for the purpose of finding people for mutual sweat sessions.

i really dont get the point... sorry, not trying to be a bitch but what is the difference between that and each person playing at his level and posting hands for discussion here?
Anyways, i dont even think there are 10 reg posters in the LHE forum, but if u find some, i'll join u guys just for the fun of it, but i wont be posting "mandatorily".

i would be in, but saturdays are hard for me. (it belongs to the wife first and foremost.)
1/2c - 10/20c should suffice. and, if asdpikas sat in, maybe he could turn on the vid?
i think it would get complicated, but another idea would be to play for an hour and analyze for an hour through MSN? or play 1.5 hours and analyze for .5 hours?
i like the idea of a regular game more and more the more i learn to "play the players." before long, it would become a giant metagame....cause some of us wont be playing "abc" for long...which would provide outstanding opportunities to dissect WHY you may do what you do.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
