I tend to come out betting, until I get reraised. How do you guys tend to play this?

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J, J.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 6, 8, Q (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 2 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG+1 folds.

River: (7.50 BB) 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

I bet villain flips T9 for the missed OESD but rivered 2nd pair.

But like Fnord said, he would have to be a pretty donktastic call station to make that river bet a good one. Sometimes he will show up with a hand like A8 or 87 that you beat, but not often enough.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Yeah, most of his range is Qx and busted draws without more information. Even if he gets there with a weaker pair, sometimes he finds a river fold.

This particular table had been pretty loose/passive up to this point-a lot of people just calling me down with mid/bottom pair and very transparently re-raising when they improved. I had put the SB on something like A8 or A6.

The play at .25/.50 has really baffled me so far (baffled in the sense that I can't figure out why people do things like hold on to Kxs to the river when they flop no pair, no draw, etc.).
