I've been playing 2/4 on Party for a bit and feel comfortable with my game (always room for improvement, obviously).

Lately, I've been doing really well playing 2/4 on the weekends, but giving a bunch of it back during the week. I've been trying to analyze my play to see the difference, but haven't been finding too much.

Last night I decided maybe I was playing too many hands (although not more than during the weekend), and stopped playing some "marginal" hands - and did WORSE.

Could be more fish are playing on the weekends, and more real players are playing during the week, but I think the numbers are both around 60k, so not sure that reason's valid.

I've also found 3/6 I do OK, but not consistently, so I've stayed at 2/4 for now. Could this just be a bad swing - I hate to chalk it up to that.

Any opinions on PP 2/4 in general? Sorry for the long read and thanks.
Eric

I would rather chalk it up to a bad swing if I knew I were playing well rather than altering my play to compensate for...a bad swing.

well what this sounds like to me as that, your play is typically right for the looser weekend games, but there is a whole somewhere that wont allow you to be profitable during the week, it my be something as simple as having a bad fell for table selecting, Fnord did post on here and I’ll give you a link when I’m done "why you suck at limit", one of them is that you fail to seek out player that are worse then you, this might be the case it might not without actually seeing PT states or watching you play it's hard to say...

I have biiger wins/losses on the weekends due to the looser games. When its bad its really bad, but when its good, its pretty damn good. The weekday are more of a grind but there are still weak players.

I had read the "Why I Suck..." post. I think I've read the table selection one as well, but could definitely reread that. Can someone point me to that one again?

Thanks for the advise.
