Now i have always been a NLHE man, its the only game i have played. I have devoted all time, all planning, all reading specifically to that game.....no more!

PLO is THE game of choice. THE game in which to dominate online.

See the thing i have noticed..... everything is NLHE, everyone wants to play NLHE. The pond is not a pond, is an ocean! Full of sharks, fish and all the in between. With PLO we have a much smaller pond..... which is packed full of the fishiest fish the planet has ever seen! We are not talking bad players here, we are talking people who dont know the rules!

Im currently tearing it up at the $10/$25/$50 games on Full Tilt and i have to say i havnt played NLHE in weeks. Starting at $2sngs i have ran $11 up to $576 in less than 3 weeks (ok i have been playing A LOT!!) with frightening ease. So what am i doing? Whats my secret? Nothing.....

I do nothing other than play tight, aggressive, play position and make sure i play solid start cards that more often than not have me drawing to the nuts. I keep an eye on my opponents and for some reason find it a huge amount easier to read where people are at. (I must add that the raiser who has AAxx written all over his avatar has contributed nicely to my new bank roll )

I plan to play the occasional NLHE game from time to time, as i do like the big tournis, but my cash game of choice is now PLO, and will for some time yet!

I have just got into omaha and even though I really haven't played that many hands yet I feel that this could be a really good path to go down.

I'm having one problem. I'm used to NLHE 6-max and on party they only have around 4 tables for $25 PLO 6-max. Can I still make a good profit off of playing FR, I guess that means nut hunt even more than on 6max and make less plays as generally more people are in the pot?

Anyone else play on party? The NLHE games are soft too, maybe i can mix them up together lol

The swings are just crazy but thats fine, i really dont mind that at all.

Fact is PLO is peoples worst game by far and a solid aggressive player can totally dominate the low and even mid stakes. My $576 was some real good running and things have leveled off now, but im still hardly playing NLHE and earning a lot more in PLO.

Be agressive and make sure you know WHEN to fold... Nuts on the flop doesn't mean nuts on the river...

But the best for me so far is HU on PokerStar... Cash game HU on PokerStar are just nice ^^ PLO is nice everywhere... And don't tell me PLO8 is nice.. only good to give more rakes...

Eventually I'm going to have to figure out how to play PLO, although from what I've heard I don't have that far to go. PLO8 was good to me in the past, but not so much recently.

I agree, I really like the h/l omaha. I feel like you have alot more freedom and options. But I always seem to get screwed by pocket pairs. I almost feel like you shouldnt play your cards unless you have a pocket pair to turn into a full boat

it can be a goldmine i have to agree to some extent.
I started playing OMAHA and must say it took awhile for me to get the hang of it,
Must admit it is one of my favorite games to play now second to NL holdem.
Perhaps i will see you around the tables at Fulltilt

Pot-Limit Omaha is one of the most popular cash games played in casinos across Europe today.Pot-Limit Omaha is a very strategic game, involving a great deal of skill and discipline. It requires players to keep many concepts in mind simultaneously.

It advocates balancing bluffs and semi-bluffs with (mostly) solid play, and focuses on pre-flop and flop play since these are the most important betting rounds. The game rapidly becomes complex and more challenging to analyze when you reach the turn and river. However, if you play correctly pre-flop and on the flop, you will face fewer difficult situations on the turn and river.
