This is why you fold KJo from early position. Had I played, my nut straight would have lost to the river full house.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Js, Kd.
UTG folds, Hero folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB checks.

Flop: (3.50 SB) Kh, Ac, Qd (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, BB folds.

Turn: (2.75 BB) Tc (2 players)
MP1 bets, MP2 calls.

River: (4.75 BB) Th (2 players)
MP1 bets, MP2 raises, MP1 3-bets, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 10.75 BB

Results in white below:
MP1 has Ad Ts (full house, tens full of aces).
MP2 has Jd 8s (straight, ace high).
Outcome: MP1 wins 10.75 BB.

Right.... Here is another example. There is a raise behind me and when the flop comes I am in last place. KJo is overrated by many players.
