I just started playing limit online for cash. I am running Poker Tracker and saving hand histories.

The amount of information available through PT is daunting. What are the main stats i should be monitoring and should they be high or low?

If you could name your 5 most important it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

VP$IP - How many hands you're playing
PFR - How many hands your're raising pre-flop
Aggression factor - How often you're calling vs Raising and folding
Cold calling pre-flop - Filter what hands you're doing this with and how often

Thanks Fnord, i have a grand total of about 300 hands in PT so far so the data probably doesnt mean much yet, but at least i will know what to look at as time progresses.

Lefou, find the autorate rules somewhere in the limit section... try to get yourself to a green moneybag.

I think these are reasonable targets..

15-20% VPIP
8-11% PFR
>2 Aggression (ignoring preflop)

Edit: for full ring, 6-max you wouldn't do too well with these stats

These sound right to me as well. I think I'm 17/9/2.5, and doing quite well in full ring 1/2. Specifically regarding aggression, I was watching this like a hawk for a while to remind myself to value bet on later streets and no wimp out. Has dialed up my WR a bit...

I also set a hand filter to see only "leaky" hands during my play so I can ensure that if they pop up, I remind myself to cut that shit out.
