I have been playing online for a little over a month, I moved down to $2/$4 party on March 5th. I have really worked on my game, moving from a Semi-Loose Agg. Passive (while playing the $5/$10 Level).
I decided that even though I was winning it was not the proper way for me to play. So I have read SSH and read this site everyday and moved down to $2/$4. I want to post my Poker tracker stats just for general comments.
I know the sample is small, maybe I am on the right track, Just looking for feedback
Total hands: 3,820
VP$P 17.54%
VP$ in from SB 22.99%
saw flop all hands 21.91%
saw flop not a blind 16.25%
Folded SB to Steal 80%
Folded BB to Steal 82.7%
Fold BB to Steal HU 87%
Att. to Steal Blinds: 14.38%
Won $ when saw flop: 35.60%
Went to showdown: 34.41%
Won $ @ SD: 46.88%
Raised Pre-Flop 7.28%
Limp/call Reraise PF: 0
First Action on Flop after a Pre-flop raise
Raise: 11.15%
Bet: 68.71%
call: 3.96%
check: 6.47%
check/Raise 0%
fold: 1.44%
Aggression factor
Flop: 2.74
Turn: 1.76
River: 1.46
Folded to River bet 28.78%
I use SSH pre-flop (tight) -- hands recommendation. I haven't really played at many Loose tables. Most have had 1 or 2 players with 40% + VP$P. Everyone else being Tight or Semi-loose
again just looking for comments
Thanks for your time

- Your W$SD seems a bit low. Are you calling down with second best hand a lot? Also, I didn't see your win rate? Combining this with W$SD usually helps diagnose this calling down second best problem. If you see this a lot, you may need to observe and categorize players carefully to avoid calling down tight players. If you are winning, then you still might want to focus on your reads and either bet/raise on the turn or fold.
- On this note, your turn and river aggression are both a bit low, I think.
- Also, I'm not a expert on stealing, but your steal rate is very low. Mine was at 21% and I got the same feedback from others. Look to put pressure on the blinds from CO and Button. Don't give blinds a cheap flop to hit a miracle and trap you...
- Finally depending on the game, you might want to look for more opportunities to raise pre-flop. I play at about 17% as well, but raise at 9-10%.
Get more feedback from others, and check back at 15k hands...need more sample size for sure.

W$SD low, could be bad run of cards, could be calling with second bests.
My fLop turn and river agressions are higher, yours could be a tad higher.
Preflop looks good, You might even consider cutting out a few hands out of position. My VPIP is about 15.5, ut really depends on your postflop play.
Raise more hand preflop in position, thats where you will get the extra 1-3 percent.
Steal more
Protect blinds more
Play more hands, low sample size

thanks for the input, as far as win rate, for $2/$4 and I almost dead even over the 3820 hands.
I figured I have these leaks, which I am going to work on.
-- I don't check raise on the flop enough
-- I don't steal/protect enough
-- my VP$P lately has been around 16.5% lately, so playing somewhat tighter
-- I know I have been calling down a few too many hands
I will look to raise more preflop

On C/R'ing, generally it is overrated, and can COST you money rather than make it. Generally, I use CR'es to trap the field for another bet on a huge draw or with a big hand on the turn or river. Finally, I use it to kill draws when in EP after a LP bet. The downsides are that it gives away a good hand killing action from calling stations, and sometimes you whiff and give a free card.
On protecting, to confirm--calling is not protecting, only raising is protecting. And, don't protect for protecting's sake ("you can't push me around, so I'll reraise just to mess with you."). If you don't have an ok hand, don't worry about it--just muck and give up the blind. But, don't be afraid if you have KJ in the SB and a laggy CO or button open raises (looks like a steal attempt) to reraise back (raise or fold). In this case, you have a strong hand, strong outs, and it might passify them next time--whether or not they see your holding.
Finally, bet the river more often when blanks hit...a clear cause of low river aggression numbers. I've worked hard at this.
maybe you know all of this stuff. Your numbers look just like mine a short while ago...I suppose I can relate, hence the advice.
