What are the odds of pocket tens or higher making a set, then they get beaten?

does not compute
additional information needed

chances of making a set on flop = 12%
chances of making a set on each additional street = 4% each

chances of having the set beat clearly depends on opponents hand.

If he has an underpair (same suits) he will need quads or a 4card straight

If he has SCs (you dont block his suits and your set card is a part of his straight) he is not so bad

If he has an overpair to your pair and didnt make a set on flop, he will have 8% chance of making a better set, plus any runner runner draws...
