Saltsoup is an average player, he enters about 27% of pots. He’s a losing player according to my stats on him. I think he’s likely to have an AAxx, A2xx or A3xx when he raises. Colossus is a big big fish and I’ve taken a stack off him before. He leads pot into a flush board with the PFR still to act and I’m holding the biggest flush cards. He’d do this with 2 pair or a set, and I doubt he’d bet a big straight draw like that. I decide to raise here. I’m trying really hard to fold out a bare A2 or A3. If I’m unsucessful, I’m never drawing dead. But if I can isolate the fish and I have the best low draw I get 60% equity and the dead money. Good move?

I was about comment on this hand as if it were PLO high (I just grazed over what you said about A2/A3 thinking you had a flush draw+top pair on a flop of something like A3x). I suck donkey balls at PLO8, but never drawing dead = good and shutting out bigger/same draws (ie A2/A3) = very good, so I approve.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

This is how I play it normally. Is it really that spewy?
Drawing to the 2nd nut low and the nut high. Anyone calling here has to have at least a redraw to both splits. You make it really tough on a set and equally difficult for A2 (we know they cannot have the NFD) to call as well.
Problem is you blow everyone out of a pot you could very well scoop with a gin card.

I think the first hand I was up against a set with no low and we split the pot. Here's another similar hand:
Pilipinen is loose and shit but sane. Rafman is 90 VPIP over 60 hands and completely retarded. I think this one is completely routine; I need to isolate against the fish and take the dead money. Also I had a pair of 8s that was possibly good if Rafman was raising a low only and a possible gutshot promotion if he folds 456
