I have NEVER seen the villan here (and he's around a fair bit) bet the pot without the nut hand. He's done me in the past (once) in similar position, but I'm not sure if my read is sure enough to give it away for another $12. I give him credit for being a thinking player, and he's probably picked up on my aggressive style, but does that change how he plays? He generaly plays pretty tight PF too, is he really calling with A6? But the only other hand I could put him on is 22, and he would have raised the flop with that.

Bad call on my part. Agree?

Based on all the information you have on him, why do you think he just called on the flop? I'm thinking you both have an ace, but the fact that he's not full leaves him passive. The turn brings his 6 kicker. Now he has AAA66. To me it's an easy fold with 22 filling my aces and a tight player coming back at me. Your opponent is simply too smart to bet into a board paired with aces when he doesn't have a superior full house. Thank god you had a read on him, or you would have lost a lot of money here. I'm kidding of course. Trust your read and you won't lose a crapload next time.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
