... Especially when in position and your play indicates something else. (sorry converter isn't working with B2B hands )

Game # 312996026 - Omaha High Pot Limit EUR 0,50/1,00 - Table "Brussel"

Dealer: kornholio
Small Blind: lazyk_ (0,50)
Big Blind: loorti (1,00)

kornholio was dealt: As - 5s - 2s - 4d

manutduk Fold
kornholio Raise (3,50)

kornholio Call (44,50)

River 3h - Ks - 2d - 7s - 5c

lazyk_ All-In (107,85)
kornholio Payback (10,55)

kornholio shows: As - 5s - 2s - 4d (a straight, five high)
lazyk_ shows: Jc - 7d - Kc - Ts (two pairs, kings and sevens)

kornholio wins: EUR 347,20 (with a straight, five high)
Rake: EUR 2,00

Omaha Hi: 40 enumerated boards containing Ks 7s 2d 3h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
As 5s 2s 4d 20 50.00 20 50.00 0 0.00 0.500
Ts Kc Jc 7d 20 50.00 20 50.00 0 0.00 0.500

Implied odds of his top 2 pair against me is zero. If a brick hits the river, I fold. But mine against him are tremendous if I hit my straight with an offsuit 4, 5 or 6. Even if I hit my nut flush it is a backdoor one that he may well pay off.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

lol the good old 50/50 turn.

b2b is an exellent site for plo. However they do chase like mofo's.
Btw, how often do you think he has trips on that turn on b2b? Ive found not a lot and that where you may think your dawing to a decent but not great amount of outs (eg straight) you actually have two pair ones too. Nh sir!

I think quite often he will have trips here. Even so, we're still something like 42% to win on the river. Also, because he check-raised us he probably isn't putting us on a draw here, so it's even more likely that he'll pay us off on the river.

And yes, I have found the PLO on B2B to be very juicy. People seem to think that just because it's 8-handed that you need to push hard with 2 pair or the 2nd/3rd/worse nut flushes

Why not pot the flop, then check behind on the turn? He seems like a donkish player, and once he calls you on the flop, I don't think he's folding often enough for semi-bluffing to make much sense.

My read on him was that he was pretty solid. It's 4-handed so you need to crank up the aggression. Also, my draw is so huge and disguised that my equity in the pot is huge. No sense letting him hit a free card if he has one pair Kxxx.

Plus, Omaha is all about semi-bluffs. Because once a draw hits on the river and you've played your hand like an obvious draw, you don't get paid off

If this had been O8 you could've basically reraised/potted the flop and pushed the turn to freeroll him.

And take it down!!!!!!!!!
