Guys, here are some of the bigger pot hands I played this afternoon. This is my first endeavor into actually playing ring game PLO, so any and all comments would be appreciated. There are one or two decent players at the table.

Hey,
I don't have time right now, otherwise I would comment. You did post way too many hands.
If you want thoughtful responses post 3 max. If you're ok with one line answers you'll probably get a couple responses.

OK honest assessment of how you played from last night. I know I was screwing around but if you were playing serious here is what I felt of your game. Screw you for also sitting directly on my left the first time we played
Negative: You bloat too many pots OOP with sub-premium holdings preflop.
Positive: You value-bet thin and correctly a few times when I would have checked
Negative: Playing less than nut-draws in multiway pots
Positive: You play aggressively in a passive game
Final negative: Over-valuing 2pr hands

1. Fold turn
2. Fine if he bets light (ie if he will bet a tiny flush or straight on that board)
3. Probably call river, getting a decent price and he could be betting something like AJ here
4. Check behind is good. Very few worse hands will call, and 56xx just got there. If he was on a club draw (most likely) he either folds or raise bluffs.
5. Gutshot to the nuts is a fold in your position. If you were button and closed the action, then a call could be considered.
6. 6 outs to the nuts and out of position heads up, usually I just fold this flop. In position a card off is good since you can get paid when you hit, possibly get a free card, or get away when the turn is a bad card.
7. Looks good, but a raise often gets paid off by worse flushes. If he reraises we can fold unless he's a maniac.
8. Preflop is just barely a call since there are a lot of troublesome flops for us. Looks fine after that, although bottom 2 pair is a major trouble hand. Since SB isn't very deep and UTG just called, a raise is good on the turn.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

So what's standard line for PLO, 25-30/10/2.5? I'm running ab0ut 55/8-12/1.75 I think.

I thought there was a small chance my straight outs were live, but I agree completely, this was a luckbox river for me.
2. Fine if he bets light (ie if he will bet a tiny flush or straight on that board)
My reasoning was that he was a weak player, and doubted he would've checked a higher flush on the flop.
3. Probably call river, getting a decent price and he could be betting something like AJ here
My read was right, I was putting him on either a) weaker 2pair or b) missed flush draw. Villian turned over 9 K 10 8
4. Check behind is good. Very few worse hands will call, and 56xx just got there. If he was on a club draw (most likely) he either folds or raise bluffs.
Villan showed Q 5 J 8

I was thinking I had a wrap draw, but you're essentially right, only one of the straights I'm drawing to is the nuts, I guess wraps lose a lot of their value when they aren't giving you wrap outs everyway to the nuts, or wrapped broadways. Thanks for facilitating my reaffirmation
6. 6 outs to the nuts and out of position heads up, usually I just fold this flop. In position a card off is good since you can get paid when you hit, possibly get a free card, or get away when the turn is a bad card.
This was a very thin flop call, I see that now. Thanks again
7. Looks good, but a raise often gets paid off by worse flushes. If he reraises we can fold unless he's a maniac.
Instinct served me well on this one villian flipped: A 5 3 7
8. Preflop is just barely a call since there are a lot of troublesome flops for us. Looks fine after that, although bottom 2 pair is a major trouble hand. Since SB isn't very deep and UTG just called, a raise is good on the turn.

I dunno. I don't have Omaha PT! I think it's very dependent on your table, and your post-flop play. I don't mind seeing flops with marginal crap (like the above hands) as long as I am in position, or getting a great price, or my opponents are terrible (ideally all three). PLO has enough variance, thank you very much.
I play these crap hands supercarefully, unless I have a good read that they have AAXX or KKXX and are overplaying them.

At a quick glance I'm folding nearly all these hands preflop. You want all cards working for you in your hand Ks6hQs3s sucks really hard IMO.
