New to plo so this may seem standard to a lot of people.

I keep wondering to myself if I missed a lot of value on this flop/hand or is taking down this pot on the flop the best I could really do in this hand?

First time playing with both villains. BB is playing pretty loose passive, 61/9/.33, while UTG is playing fairly tight aggressive 29/19/1.65. Small sample of hands but that is all I had to work with.

Semi-read on UTG, he has only open raised and 3bet with AAxx even OP, everything else has been a flatcalls. One hand with AAxx he almost stacked off on a JJ4s flop after a 3bet preflop, but hit an A on the river. So I think he is very capable of stacking off light with AAxx.

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($58.15)
UTG ($57.05)
Hero (MP) ($30.95)
Button ($25.30)
SB ($9.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 5, 8, 6, 9
UTG bets $0.75, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, BB calls $1.75, UTG raises to $8.10, Hero calls $6.10, BB calls $6.10

Flop: ($24.40) 10, 9, 7 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $22.85 (All-In), 2 folds

Total pot: $24.40 | Rake: $1.20

UTG opens, I repop small in the CO with my rundown hand to buy the button and get rid of the blinds. BB calls given his fairly loose play, and UTG 3bets. I'm pretty sure it's AA, so I call and look for a good flop in position.

I flop the 2nd Nuts, but the board is very drawy. It gets checked to me. It crossed my mind that BB could have checked a straight, but unlikely as there was a flush draw, and he can't run the risk of it getting checked behind for a free turn to kill his hand. I just shove, cause if I bet 1/2 pot, and either or both players decide to call, then I am pretty committed on the turn. I suppose I could bet 1/4, but that seems to invite some suckouts for a pretty cheap.

as played the flop is standard, anything but a shove makes no sense. If someone has the nuts you're paying it off. with the clubs out you might even be able to fold out a hand like KQJx which would be good.

given he only opens AA the flop raise is marginal since he'll surely 4 bet and you lose a lot of your implied odds.

Could you clarify? Would like to hear some of your thought process on the preflop play

I was trying to buy the button, build a pot, and get rid of the blinds.

well if your read is he only opens AAxx hands, then it's ridiculously obvious he's going to 4bet PF. That means at the best you're probably a 54-46 (roughly) dog and could be even worse if he has blockers and your suit covered. You're going to put a ton of money in PF as a dog and then post-flop, a lot of times, you're going to flop some sort of a draw you'll have to go with continuing the them of getting your money in slightly behind OR one of you two will flop the nizzles which will probably cancel each other out long run (I'm counting flops like T22r as the nizzles for him).

soooooooooooooo, call PF, invite a multi-way pot, cuz hell, you have a great multi-way hand.

postflop is obv standard
