Im a no limit player but wanted to catch up on my limit skills so I have a couple of questions. First, if im sitting at a $1-$2 table how much should I be sitting with. In no limit I always sit with 100xbb which would be $100 since the big blind is a dollar. I heard you should sit with 20xbb which would be $20 for $1-$2. I would like some good players to confirm this.
Second what kinda bakroll do I need for limit, in no limit when im sitting at a table im only sitting with 5% of my entire bankroll. So for a $1-$2 limit $20 sit that would mean I needed a bankroll of $200. Please fill me in on wether this is right bankroll for limit.
Third is the most difficult question to answer because it has to do slightly with reads on opponents. But im wondering in limit if you have top pair with good kicker and bet in early position, and a player in later position raises you, should I generally call or fold this hand. Heres the problem with this. In no limit, its easier to make decisions when somethin like this happens because when a person raises you in later position its more then likely more then doubling your raise. But in limit where you can only double there raise. And im getting paid 4:1 with top pair on board and good kicker. It seems harder to make a good decision on what to do...
Please help me with all these questions

i like to be able to cap every street at least twice. 12BB will allow you to cap every street for a single hand. so 24BB is the least i sit down with.
300BB is a good bankroll rule.
depends on who's raising, his position relative to yours, how many people are in the hand, how big the pot is, what your cards are, what the board is, what you think he has, what you think he thinks you have, etc.

When you say BB do you mean big bets as in $8 or the big blind as in $4?
