I have been reading SSH, I've learned a lot, but there is one thing where I'm either totally doing the wrong thing or possibly doing the right thing. If I'm in the blind or late position and I call in late position or call a raise from the bling with a smaller than 10 kicker suited. Is it wrong to play down to the river with someone that is betting out. In position I am typically calling bets. From the blinds I'll bet out, and if I'm raised, I think it is easier to realize you are beaten. What is the take on this.

You are over-simplifying the situation. But I'll try to give you a general answer. And you need to read SSH in much more details.

The strength of Axs (especially 7 or lower) is that it makes the nut flush (and straight occaionally). Therefore when you play them, you want many people to play, and you want to get in cheap.

If you're raised:
BB: You need one cold caller/limper, else you may just fold. You're not getting enough odds to play headsup against a hand that my dominate you.

SB: You need at least 2-3 limpers/cold callers outside the raiser, depending on your kicker and how loose the table is.

Flop and beyond on raised flop:
If an ace does not flop, you need a good draw to continue. Otherwise don't waste money and fold. If an ace flop, you are are still at risk of domination, so you need to play carefully. f your opponent play weak, you may want to c/r the flop or the turn. Donking the flop maybe fine too, but you're planning to fold to a re-raise. If the opponent is aggressive and may raise you even if he does not have an ace, calling down maybe okay. I'll be much more happy calling down if I have a backdoor flushdraw

I did not specify. I've I'm holding a suited A, but no flush draw flops but you hit an A. In position is it correct to call if your oppenent is betting out. If I am out of position, I have been betting out, but not getting raised with a better kicker. Trying to "probe" bet so to speak.

This is a tricky situation, and actually is often kind of dificult to play.

Part of it will depend on your read, and part will depend on the pot odds to call, and also a little to do with how many people are in the pot.

For example, if you are bet into and are in late position. I would think someone has an Ace. AJ or AT may be the best hand if it was not raised preflop, so continue to play it cautionsly. But A8 or A7 (or below) could easily be behind. I would only continue if you have pot odds to draw to two pair or backdoor flush, or at least close (don't need exact odds because you won't always be behind). And as the your Ace gets weeker, you need better and better odds. A3 or A4, I would like a straight draw to go with it. You need even better odds because two pair with pairing a 3 or 4 won't always win either.
