The turn my reasoning is that if Fro bets i prob get guadalup in for $8. On the river I'm afraid Fro had the 9.

If Fro is a solid TAGG, I would be very surprised if his hand had a 9 in it. Probably the only possibility is A9s, but you can see 2 of the Aces and 2 9s, so that is very unlikely. If he did have A9, or even K9, I would expect him to have raised either the flop or turn. I suspect he had 77 or 66 or 2 big diamonds and tried to take the pot on the turn after you showed weakness. You almost never make money here when ahead if you check the river. You will often get called down by any A, and even a K however, and definitely by TT or JJ. It's close, but I think you make more by betting the river. Remember that the risk of getting raised is far less costly than in no-limit. Also worthy of note here is that Fro isn't super solid, because his preflop call here is always a pretty big mistake. The button's choices are only raise and fold following a CO open-raise.
