First post on this board. I've been playing .1/.2 limit over the last few weeks and have been doing well. I'm having problems with PP's like 99s and TTs. If anybody could look over the following hands and maybe give some advice, it would be great.
Hand 1
CD Poker Urtaso 0.10/0.20, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker
saw flop | saw showdown
Button Button ($3.67)
SB ($5.61)
BB BB ($9.38)
UTG Hero ($6.41)
UTG+1 ($4.99)
MP ($15.30)
MP ($8.43)
MP ($8.11)
CO-1 ($1)
CO ($8.04)
Preflop: Hero is UTG with Td Ts
Hero raises to 0.20, 6 folds, Button raises to 0.30, 1 fold, BB calls 0.20, Hero calls 0.10.
Flop (1.05) 8c Ad 7c
BB checks, Hero bets 0.10, Button calls 0.10, BB calls 0.10.
Turn (1.35) 7s
BB checks, Hero bets 0.20, Button calls 0.20, BB calls 0.20.
River (1.95) 3h
BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks
**Reads
Didn't have any real reads on BB or BTN. I had seen the BTN showdown a few hands with SC's
Hand 2
CD Poker Urtaso 0.10/0.20, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker
saw flop | saw showdown
Button ($5.41)
SB Hero ($5.81)
BB BB ($5.26)
UTG ($14.90)
UTG+1 ($8.28)
MP ($7.86)
MP ($1.23)
CO-1 ($8.23)
CO CO ($3.16)
Preflop: Hero is in the SB with Th Td
5 folds, CO calls 0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to 0.15, BB raises to 0.20, CO calls 0.20, Hero calls 0.10.
Flop (0.90) 8d 3h Qd
Hero bets 0.10, BB calls 0.10, CO calls 0.10.
Turn (1.20) Tc
Hero bets 0.20, 2 folds
**Reads
CO is the same player as the BTN in the previous hand. Plays fairly loose and anything with a face card. BB is a new player that is playing the first hand and I have no stats for him.
Hand 3
CD Poker Gosport 0.10/0.20, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker
saw flop | saw showdown
Button ($4.70)
SB ($2.05)
BB ($6.22)
UTG ($21.08)
UTG+1 UTG+1 ($6.25)
MP Hero ($5.89)
MP ($4.36)
CO-1 ($5.37)
CO ($0.34)
Preflop: Hero is in MP with Ts Tc
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to 0.20, Hero calls 0.20, 6 folds.
Flop (0.55) 3s Qh 2c
UTG+1 bets 0.10, Hero calls 0.10.
Turn (0.75) 6s
UTG+1 bets 0.20, Hero calls 0.20.
River (1.15) 2d
UTG+1 bets 0.20, Hero calls 0.20
**Reads
UTG+1 is a huge calling station, with almost every possible hand.
Hand 4

UTG bets 0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to 0.20, UTG calls 0.10.
Turn (1.15) 2c
UTG bets 0.20, Hero calls 0.20.
River (1.55) Js

UTG is another calling station. VPIP/PFR is 92.2/4.7 on approx. 300 hands.

Too many hands in one post although I understand the common topic. Just one note on #4: I don't think it's profitable to raise 99 after two limpers even if UTG+1 is as loose as UTG.

Yeah a few too many hands to respond to all together.
That said it looks like you held onto your TT a bit too long in a couple of hands. So many people will go to flop with any ace at all that it is rarely worth calling down an ace flop with a weaker pair.

how do you go AI in limit? unless you are playing a MTT or STT you should never find yourself in a spot where you don't have enough money to put in 12bb in one hand if need be...

Not sure what that has to do with my original post???
Next time I won't post as many hands in one post. The iPoker hand converter makes it look extremely long as well.

Very true. I think actually most of the hands I held onto too long. I went looking back at all the PP's from 77-TT in my PT database and realized that on all the ones that were unimproved with the flop I held onto them too long. Interestingly enough, of the 5 hands I posted I won the pot on 4. I still feel I played them poorly though.

It's great to avoid being "results-oriented" even when the play(s) worked this time. However, if you got the right odds or made the right reads you may have played them well. I think a hand light TT starts with decent equity and even as the board deteriorates you may still have the best hand, the questions are how often and how much you have to pay to find out.

At those limits you're going to get called preflop too often with any face card. I would bet out the flop then check call down if you have backdoor draws or if you're certain you're dealing w/ player that will semi bluff his way down. Otherwise, checkfold if there is an overcard and a soft player is betting/raising into you. Remember, these are the same players that will pay your tptk off later on - don't pay them back.
