This is a quote from Fnords "why you suck at limit" sticky

You open the pot for a limp outside of UTG/UTG+1 at a full table.

I guess I'm confused as to hands you should be raising in MP onwards then. I know I'm not going to be raising 10-9s but things like KJs ya sure. What about the weaker hands like ATo and QJo? I've always just raised these in CO/Button to a full fold around. Should I extend this range?

I raise ATo from MP. QJo it kinda depends on what table I'm at, I'll fold it if I'm likely to get 3-4 callers after my MP raise, but I'll raise it if I'm likely to get it heads up or actually manage to steal the blinds with a raise from MP or later. Limping as the first person in the pot is definately not a great habit to get in. Even from UTG or UTG+1 the only hands I will really limp instead of raising are pocket pairs under 9.
