I just recently finished SSH Hold'em. So far to date, when playing limit hold'em, I really didnt much think about the term pot equity, until recently. My question here is on the turn. I just call, is that correct. I figure if I raise, it will most definately be 3-bet back to me, possibly closing out the 3rd player in the hand. Obviously what he has he wouldnt fold off of, even though he didnt raise preflop or postflop with KK I guess I could see this unfolding a variety of different ways. Should have I raised the turn? I have a whopping 3 hands total for the two players, so reads where null. On an up note, I finished my first 1000 hands right around 9BB/100. Had one really good rush, We will see how the next few sets go.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7, 8.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls, 2 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 6, 2, 3 (6 players)
SB bets, BB raises, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, BB caps, Hero calls, SB calls.

Turn: (9 BB) J (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

River: (12 BB) T (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero folds, SB calls.

Final Pot: 14 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Kd Ks (one pair, kings).
BB has 5d 4d (straight, six high).
Outcome: BB wins 14 BB.

I would only raise the turn if it brought you your open-ended straight draw. Also, you might not have as much equity as you think; by looking at it i would say SB was on a flush draw too but then hit a pair on the J or the T.
