i'm taking a break from poker the next 2 weeks because of school and finals, but i can still think about poker on the bus :P
playing the blinds is not that important in full ring because they just don't come around fast enough. you can camp for the best cards and take down huge pots.
i'm winning in all positions, except for the blinds, where i am losing A LOT. i need advice on how to play blinds.
specifically...in the SB
UTG raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
UTG+1 raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
CO raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
Button raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
...in the BB
UTG raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
UTG+1 raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
CO raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
Button raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
SB raise, what hands would you call, which would you reraise?
now the problem with playing in the blinds is you are out of position for the rest of the hand. what are some things you look for to decide whether to check/raise, bet out, or check/fold?

Hyper:
Based on these questions, has your research yielded any conclusions regarding blind play. My weak link in 6max, as it is for most.

On the blinds suited connectors go up in value a bit, but playing those should always be based on your odds of hitting on the flop (bigger pot
BB - I'd play KTs but not KTo. QJs, QTs, T9s also good on the blinds. Medium pocket pairs if the raiser is loose or on the button.
The best way to answer these questions is to look at your poor position flop play (UTG/UTG+1). You want to play cards that increase your chances of hitting something very solid the flop that your style will be able to bet from these positions.

Yeah thanks for nothing, Hyper.
After paying some of my own "tuition" this week, I've observed that only high suited (89s and up) are the only suited connectors that play for me in the blinds, generally speaking. But, they only about break even, and don't seem to stand up against a raise in front.
Small pairs pay, as well as painted ones.
This is based on a sample of about 10k.
EDIT: But, as you said Hyper, it depends on the competition.
