Hand 1: You're almost never good on the turn and certainly no good on the river.
Hand 2: I think you took this one too far. I would just call the flop and dump this the turn.
Hand 3: Checking this flop into a tight passive field is taking money and setting it on fire. Check/raising a hand reader in a bigger game will just get you a fold when you might have gotten looked up.

Drugs are bad for you, m'kay?
Look at the stakes. He's good on the turn 90% of the time. Unless he found skilled .25/.50 players in which case he should switch tables.

I am assuming from your post you lost these hands. What is the trend of hands you either won or lost? Top pair holding up? Hitting flushes? Causing folds HU by continuation bets? For example, if your top pair connections have been beaten by long shot draws and you have not hit any nut flushes, then I would say it happens; be patient. However, if you are hitting TPTK and maybe a flush or two, but losing it all back by pushing overcards too hard or calling down weak draws, then I would say you are leaking chips.
