Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Stickonadog is MP2 with T, 8. Stickonadog posts a blind of $3.
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, Stickonadog (poster) checks, 3 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 9, 6, 9 (4 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, MP1 calls, Stickonadog calls, BB calls.

Turn: (4.16 BB) 7 (4 players)
BB bets, UTG raises, MP1 calls, Stickonadog 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, MP1 calls.

River: (16.16 BB) K (4 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, MP1 calls, Stickonadog calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 20.16 BB

my question is on the river, i wanted to bet the river but with the board paired and 4 people in with the 3 bet... i feared someone hitting a boat with a K9. should i raise the river? i would've made an extra 18 dollars.. but would it be the right move?

::one guy had A 7 and the other one had A 9

Raise. If you are 3 bet, call. Sure, you might have a boat out there, but especially if you think everyone else will call, you should bet. If everyone calls your bet, you only have to win 25% to break even on the raise ... and trust me, you will win at least 50% here.

Yep, your hunting for 4 outs without odds.
Paired board, could get nasty for you, fold it on the flop.

Yeah that flop call is damn close. With the board paired, you can't count on winning all the hands if you pull the draw ... I think it depends on your read on the table ... if you are pretty sure 2 or 3 people will call you down all the way if you pull the straight it's worth it ... otherwise fold is probably correct.

Don't draw to a gutshot when the board is paired and the pot is about as dry as it gets.

You did have the odds by the end, so you played correctly if you were thinking of your implied odds. You needed 5:1 on the turn, and 10:1 on the river. You had 4.16 on the turn, which IMHO, isn't THAT bad of a call. And you had 16:1 by the river.

I don't mind this so much, because if someone hit their 9, (without a fullhouse) you were going to get paid off nicely.
