Yet another river question.

UTG+1 was 45/10/2, MP2 was 20/8/0.5. UTG+1 was capable of raising w/ tpbk or combo draws. I didn't have a read on MP2 beyond his stats. I was planning on a c/c river, but when MP2 woke up and raised out of nowhere, given his agg factor of 0.5, I took him for 2 pair or a rivered straight.

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, K.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 9, 8, K (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP2 calls, Button folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (9.75 BB) 7 (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

River: (12.75 BB) T (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP2 raises, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 16.75 BB

that's a sick fold
I'd call if I were closing the action or trapped for the first bet already

i dont know how you can call two bets there. i'd call one all day, but not two the way the action played out.

from "Rules of Engagement"--
rule #8...dont fear the 3-card boards until raised. however, be very afraid of the 4-card boards...be very afraid.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

It's tempting to want to bet/fold this river, but it's hard to see what hands will pay us off (notwithstanding that this is .5/1). QT? K5-? I don't see it.

I think you played it right. I'm definitely calling one bet here but not two.
