I'm quad tabling the 1/2 at party right now and it seems like everyone is playing alot tighter than usual. Party 1/2 from 8pm-2am has been really loose for me lately. I'm thinking it has something to do with the bonus they just offered. Anyone else experience this?

It is always this way for the week of the bonus. Even the 200nl and less become rock gardens.

Yeah the games definitely aren't as good. Luckily for me however I've only recently set up my Party Poker account so I have access to the beginners tables. I'm playing the 3 available 2/4 beginners tables now and the games are fucking great.

I like to deposit the last day of the bonus offering. It gives all the other players a chance to have already cleared the bonus and start spewing chips again.

Nice nice, that's a good strat. I'll do that next time, as this is the first time I've taken full advantage of a party reload.

It really seems like once most players have cleared their bonus, they can't wait to give it back. You just have to give them enough time to get that bonus released so they can give it away.
I have found waiting works well. I have the same amount of time to clear it as everyone else, I just don't have to fight all the tightness. I swear most people subconsciously think "I have 100 free dollars that isn't mine. Might as well gamble it up."
The tables seem to be tighter than usual (IMHO). They usually tighten up, but it seems like they are tighter than usual during this reload period.
Another drawback to whoring it while everyone else is, is that a lot of the hands don't get raked. You sit down to clear a bonus and it takes twice as many hands because a larger portion of them don't count. If you wait a few days, the tables loosen up and almost every hand counts toward clearance.

Did not seem too tight yesterday evening. Maybe I just picked a couple of good 1/2 tables. 220 hands, 80% raked and +41 BB. Long may it continue.
