5-handed, Hero is UTG
Hero is dealt K K
Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, 2 folds
Flop: J J Q
Hero bets, Button calls
Turn: J J Q 6
Hero checks, Button checks
River: J J Q 6 9
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls
I was pretty much shot by the time this hand came up, and I was planning for this to be my last orbit of the session.
On the flop, I'm wondering if a check/call is best. I pick off any Q that feels like betting into me, and I'm only in for 1 bet if I run against a J. After getting called on the flop, I think I have to check/call the turn.
On the river, I've got his range to be Qx, T8 or KT, or a smaller pocket pair. A jack wouldn't of both called behind on the flop and checked behind on the turn. I feel like I can get a call from PPs and Qx. KT is kinda unlikely because I have KK, and T8 is a kinda unlikely, but possible holding. I was planning a bet/call, because I think Qx will raise me here sometimes since it does look a bit like a steal on my part. Obviously, KT, T8, and 99 will raise me here too, but there's a lot more chance for them to have Qx than either of those I think.
I've identified something that I think is a leak, but I'm not sure and I'm not going to name it, I just want to see if anyone else picks up on it in this hand first.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Got a read on the button? If he is loose passive I can see folding to a turn raise read/stakes dependant. But you've got to bet the turn.

Now that I've came back to this hand after a couple of hours or so, it seems really obvious I should of bet the turn. I was thinking this before I even read you or renton's post too
