Maybe these are obvious to anyone who's played online a lot but i've noticed there are some tells you can get from how long a player takes to make his decision. These obviously aren't hard and fast and maybe someone has noticed others.
1) If he takes a very long time to decide to bet the river, he usually has the nuts or at least a monster. The longer he takes, the more likely he has a very big hand.
2) If he has an big pair he capped preflop (e.g., KK) you will know by how he bets each street. If he bets quickly without thinking each time, then an overcard hasn't come yet. If he slows down either an overcard has come or he's made a set.
3) If he's been betting quickly each street and a scare card comes on the river (e.g., third to a flush) and he slows down to bet he doesn't have the flush. But he still likely has something. If he checks he probably does have the flush. If he makes a straight he won't slow down because a straight is harder to spot than a flush.
4) If he pauses exactly 1-2 seconds before betting he has a marginal hand he is not sure is good. EXCEPT when he pauses before betting the turn, then bets quickly on the river - then he has a very big hand/monster that he's being cute with.
5) If he takes exactly the same amount of time to bet/call on every street you have no idea what he has.
Personally i use 'tell' 5 as much as i can, except for i will occassionally use 1 because people always seem to fall for it

If i know someone's playing at eight tables I'm glad to have them at mine. You don't need tells then cause they're on autopilot, have no reads on any of their opponents and are making poor decisions when they have to play three hands on three different tables at once.
