Hi guys,
I am in seventh heaven this morning. Had an awesome session yesterday. Played for 2.5 hours at B&M 2-4 limit and cashed out at 104$ profit. I know its probably chump change for most of you guys but I am very happy that everything went my way and no suckouts which is rare in 2-4$. Nothing went against my way yesterday, NO SUCKOUTS in 2.5 hours (except by ME in hand#2). unbelievable.
My only mistakes in the session:
1) Not reraising on the river in hand#3. i can beat trips with better kicker.
2) should have smoothcalled the turn in hand#2 and raise the river to build bigger pot. had almost the nuts there.
3) Folded a hand on the turn after raising preflop with 10-10 on the button and by turn the board was K-Q-5-Q. Board ended up being K-Q-5-Q-Q. The guy who was betting to my right had Jack high and won it . 2 people chased with NOTHING.
I played 7 hands in 2.5 hours. 3 big ones
-------------------------------------
Hand 1:
Had AKo in BB. Came back capped to me
I definitely was happy and cautious at same time.
Flop: A-10-J rainbow.
I check hoping to check raise, MP1 bets, Button raises, I 3 bet, everyone calls. 5 people in the hand.
Turn: A-10-J-9
I bet, all 5 people call.
River: A-10-J-9-9
I check, MP1 bets, we all call.
Button has J-K.
MP1 and me both have AKo
rest of the people have crap. we split the pot
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 2:
I have QQ in MP1.
Preflop: UTG+1 raises, I 3 bet, 4 people call.
Flop: Qd-Jd-5s
UTG+1 bets, I call, 3 other people call
Turn: Qd-Jd-5s-5h
UTG+1 bets, I raise, everyone folds, UTG+1 calls.
River: Qd-Jd-5s-5h-Kd
I bet, UTG+1 calls
UTG+1 has AA
I SUCKED OUT on flop.
--------------------------------------------------------
Hand 3:
i have AQo in MP1
Preflop: I raise, 4 people call.
Flop: Q-Q-7 2 flush board.
I bet the whole way.
River: Q-Q-5-K-7
Lady raises me on my left, I just call.
she had Q-J (i should have reraised)

Hand 1: Bet the river
Hand 2: Raise the flop
Hand 3: Looks fine to me depending on reads, etc.

Yes, i should have raised the flop in Hand#2. If i raised the flop and just bet out the turn when it came checked to me (assuming AA checks to me in turn), i would have won a bigger pot. Also when i raised the turn, all other draws couldnt call the turn 2 bets cold and anyways my hand was unbeatable by that point.
definitely gave up about 2-3 BB on this hand.
in hand #1. I bet the river, with if i am raised, I just call it right. check call was weak here in your opinion ? there were 5 people in the hand approx, and eventhough i liked my hand, was worried about other potential hands to beat me (9x, J9, AJ) however, AJ or J9 would have raised me on the turn for sure so i was probably safe on the river and shouldve bet (it could go checked around lose 2 BB in the split pot).
