Do you not realize you have a boat? . . . a boat that beats a flush? Hello!!! the only hand that beats you here is QQ and that is highly unlikely!!! Always raise the river with the nuts, the fish will call. Thats what they do.

ya i figured it was a bad judgement call by me.. since the player acting after me, showed some strength on the turn, i assumed he would continue if i smooth called the river bet and hoped for his reraise, so i can put in another bet... at the time it seemed like a better play lol

and yes i didnt start playing yesterday, i do know i had a boat that beats the flush, just thinkin by previous hands and how aggressive maniac the player left to act was.

It would be different if UTG didn't bet out, but he is obviously repping that flush, its also quite possible UTG will 3 bet you if he has the Ace as he over plays his hand.

Looks like a raise in the river imho...
If you think MP3 will raise, he would probably raise you anyway

This a must raise on the river.

I know you are thinkin about wanting the player after you to call or raise but the way he played out i highly doubt he woudl be raising so with your call you can only get a possible 1 more BB out of him for a total of 2BB on the river.

If you raise however, the player after you may fold or may cold call two bets, but the original better will definaly call one more bet to see what you have. so you will definately get 2BB but may get 4BB
