ok mostly I need to know if you can use one or both of the 2 cards you are using for the high hand for the low.
So for example I was playing with my friend and I had A A 2 7 and he had something like J J 5 2 and by the river I had him beat with the A A for high, so can I use one A and my 2 for the low also?

Correct. While you cannot use more than 2 cards per high or low hand, you do not have to use the same 2 cards for both.
So say you have A2sA3s
Flop is A-4-5.
You have flopped the nut low (by using 23 in your hand) and the Top Set(the AA in your hand).
Turn is 6. Now you have a straight 6 high to with your nut low.
RIver is an A. You make Top Quads and have the nut low.
Do I hear a 3/4? or better yet.....SCCOOOOOOOOP@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok thanks guys. My friend still doesnt believe you can use one of the cards you used for your high hand for low. He said it didnt let him do it in a pot on poker stars but he is new at it so probly didnt notice a better low hand or something.
This game is a lot of fun, I hope I can go back to nl hold em. I definately need a lil break from it though.

ACtually you flopped the nut low and the nut straight with a re-draw to the full boat.

If 2 people have an 8 high low, how do you determine who wins exactly?

87432
86234
8432A
Dont try to read the hand low card to high card but vica versa. 84 is better than 87 and so on.

ok so an 8752A would lose to an 86543?
When the board reads 7 7 K K 2 what are the only ways you can have a full house. You cant have just a lone K or 7 right? So this means its less likely someone has a boat when there are 2 pairs on board right?
Do people bluff more when there are 2 pairs on board?

People generally dont bluff much in Omaha, people call too much. Those that do get pissed off and go back to LHE / NLHE.

It goes based on the lowest card starting from the top of low-
So say you have A23x in your hand and opponent has A34x in his hand.
Board is K-8-7-Q-6 for sake of argument.
Your low is A-2-6-7-8
His low is A-3-6-7-8
Since you both match for the top 3 cards; we need to go to the next one-in this case you have a 2 he has a 3.Since 2 is lower than 3 you win for the low.
BUT say the board instead
A-2-3-4-5 (for sake of argument)
Your low is A-2-3-4-5 (using the A2 in your hand and the 3-4-5 on the board)
His low is A-2-3-4-5 (using the A3 in his hand and the 2-4-5 on the board).
Since your lows are now the SAME you split. Which is a nightmare situation if someone makes the nut high finds out you guys are on the low and raises out the pot.

This game gets confusing when you never really know what people are going for and with 3/4ing and stuff. Expecially when you dont want to feed the rake when its a split. The poker sites must love this game.
