What are the bankroll requirments? (I have $115 in my account right now..so which games am i rolled for)

I've been building my roll from my initial 45 $ deposit playing NLHE SNG's the past 5 days . but once i have a decent roll i think Omaha 8/o will be my primary cash game. I'm gonna dabble in the lowest limit and pot limit games for a few hours a week.
I play at Stars and at what levels does the game start to get tough?
Any good books on the game? I've read the section in SuperSystem 2 and in Phil Helmuths book and a few articles i've found on the net but is their any books directed at Omaha 8/o altogether?

A lot of questions in one, but answers to any will be helpful. I'll post some HH if i come across any tough spots that i don't know how to play (which im sure i will)

LITERATURE

try the search function first. I know from memory that what you're looking for is there.

and no, there isn't a lot of literature on the game, which is why it is extremely profitable.

you may find some useful info in my operation threads : http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-59773.htm

(a previous one)
http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...r=asc&start=70

note I play both high and hi-lo, so remember to look at what game I'm talking about or what game the hand history is.

BANKROLL

start at the 0.01/0.02 tables and buy in full for $5. once you can read the board, and know what is a decent starting hand and won a buy in or so, go to the 0.02/0.05 tables and buy in for $10. at 200bbs deep you should be able to absolutely kill it. remember to raise any reasonable looking hand you get to activate those stacks.

HHs

hand histories are always an excellent way to learn. There's a hand converter here: http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter

good luck

Just to answer the above, I've played about 5k hands at $10 & $25PL/NL08 recently, and although the player pool is small, about 90% of them are just awful. I've seen a grand total of 3 players that i would say are good. The vast majority are willing to chase draws for half the pot, so as long as u try to play only hands that have scoop potential you should be alright. I'm guessing the players get better at $50 and above, but i wouldn't start worrying about meeting too many sharks until then.
There's only one system. Bet. Lose. Borrow. Steal. Lose. Take the drugs. Lose. Prison. Death.

Thanks for the advice Salsa & KettleOFish . I know how to read the board and know starting hands from stuff i've read in super system and over the net. Which i will be re-reading. I will probally play a few hours tonight , hopefully ill have some HH to post. I think the reason this game appeals to me is i player real tight poker. In FR NLHE cash game although i might profit playing that way it won't be as much as playing real tight (agressive) PL/8.
