Preflop: Hero is BB with 3, 5.
7 folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 7, A, 6 (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 2 (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB folds.

Final Pot: 9 BB

Results in white below:
No showdown. Hero wins 9 BB.



I seriously think he thought I had the Ace here, not the flush.

The flop cap is pointless. Letting him lead the turn so you can pop it again will win the pot more often. Letting him keep control of the hand gives your draw better implied odds because HU your effective odds suck.

Gotta disagree here. 12 outs = 45% pot equity.

Capping retains some folding equity against, say, a mid pair, on the turn and river, making it a decent play, IMO.

I didnt see 12 outs, I thought I maybe 10.

This was another 'should I call' or should I do a blind defense with a monster draw?

He probably wouldn't have called me down if he knew I was a TAG just like he was, and the fact he knows I know he was on a blind steal and probably doesn't have crap.

Marginal plays, I also thought even if i didn't hit the flush I could take the pot down.
