Ok firstly this is not an exact hand just a general situation. Ok what is the best way to play a hand where you have an over pair like kings or aces and you raise and 5 or more players call and see the flop. Personally i will cap the flop then check call the turn and river so long as no one makes it 2 bets to go. My line makes money but i'm sure there is a better one and i'm probably mising some bets. Also for the sake of argument lets assume that there are no possible flushes or trips

Hi LittleOgre
Every board has possible trips.
Best to provide an example or two...of your AA or KK

Avoid putting in more than 3 BB on the turn + river when you think you're behind and put in more than 3 BB on the turn + river when you think you are ahead (if possible).

I'll just say avoid putting in more than 3 bets on the turn and river. Chances are if you are ahead, you won't be paying that much.
Specifically, I will often bet/call the turn, and check/call the river.

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
