Ok firstly this is not an exact hand just a general situation. Ok what is the best way to play a hand where you have an over pair like kings or aces and you raise and 5 or more players call and see the flop. Personally i will cap the flop then check call the turn and river so long as no one makes it 2 bets to go. My line makes money but i'm sure there is a better one and i'm probably mising some bets. Also for the sake of argument lets assume that there are no possible flushes or trips

Avoid putting in more than 3 BB on the turn + river when you think you're behind and put in more than 3 BB on the turn + river when you think you are ahead (if possible).

I'll just say avoid putting in more than 3 bets on the turn and river. Chances are if you are ahead, you won't be paying that much.

Specifically, I will often bet/call the turn, and check/call the river.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.
