I've been playing pretty much break even poker at .5/1 for the last 15K or so hands. I've been adjusting my game, lowering my starting hand requirements and ramping up the aggression. In the past 20K hands I've been crushing this game pretty consistently now (3.5BB/100). I think I actually have the confidence to try either the 2/4 game at party or the 1/2 game at other sites since I hear party 1/2 is ugly.

It's weird to all of a sudden "get it" and it see it refelected in your play (and winnings).

If you have any knowledge at limit and have the roll to play 2/4 then do it, from what I have seen 1/2 is odd, you really have to pick and choose tables to be profitable you can find tables at 1/2 as tough as a avg. 3/6 table, which coming from .5/1 is totally a different game, as Fnord will tell you 2/4 on pert is a much bettor game given the rake and skill levels...
