Do you have any pre-flop standards?

Yeah, I do have general standards, but they're quite loose pre-flop at the moment.

If I'm against decent players I tighten up a whole heap, but the general muck at my current level pay me off enough to play a lot of marginal hands.

I'm probably seeing about 50% of the flops atm, so I'm not playing everything, I'm just not waiting for perfect cards to come along either.

Position and the other players in the game are rather important though, so it's hard to give a very accurate descritpion.

I won't play rubbish like 3339 or 26AJ rainbow though.

Play less crap, make more money. It's not like you can't sit and camp at these stakes and not get paid off just about every time.

I don't play many 'crap' hands, I just don't play only great hands. I get paid off a lot both with big hands and with marginal hands.

5s 6s Jc Kc is not that much of a marginal hand. It's not a huge hand, but it's still double suited with low connectors and high 1-gapped cards.

I am nowhere near behind on my marginal hands, they make me more money, not less. I wouldn't want to be playing less than 30% of cards in Omaha, it's just not that much of a pre-flop game.

The fact I see 50% of flops is more indicative of the tables I play than anything else. I see about 80% at the penny tables.

Its not that bad. PLO hands are more positionally valued than any other game. Take a flop on the button with this isnt such a bad thing, but, its one of those hands where draws are not ever going to be that great, you will never have a wrap around straight draw, you wont be drawing to a nut flush.
