sounds pretty much like my night...
flopped KQ2 w KQ and lost not only to 22 but also to JT who hit a 9 on the river.
capped a ragged flop with AA against some jerk with 88 who caught a set on the turn.
flopped TPTK with AT and got crushed by KK.
flopped TP with KJ and got in a raising war vs an idiot ramming a bizarre GUTSHOT which came in on the turn!
of course, the two times that i hit a set, i was heads up and got no action whatsoever. same with my second AA.
i think my main source of wins during this lousy session was bluffing. those UB players are pretty tight postflop, ya know?
thankfully, it all came full circle on my last hand of the night... AA again and i capped it 4way vs AK and two others. board was T2KA7 so you know that pot got juiced like crazy. that one hand pulled me back ahead for the session. whew!

On the last hand, if i put my opponent on a draw I will bet the turn, or if I feel he is weak and will fold the turn. But when they call the flop and the turn, you got to figure Ax and not a gutshot draw. If they were on a some weird draw, you would win the hand by checking.

ive noticed this too about the UB players. but i make more money by firing at flops i miss and take them down without contest.

yeah that's exactly what i'm talking about. you're heads up or 3way, you're last (or even second last) to bet, it's checked to you, so you put out a feeler bet with nothing in your hand and put them to the test. 3/4 of the time they surrender!
