I just moved up full time to 0.5->1, just finished 12K hands and look down to see a winrate of zero (thank god for bonuses and rb). Big difference from the 5BB when I was 0.25-0.5.

I was wondering if someone could post there stats for %hands (anyone) and Won at SD for 0.5->1. I feel i have been playing good poker, but having just moved up the confidence isn't there so I need to do some stat analaysis. When I compare to my 60K at 0.25-0.5 I'm missing the board more often and winning on my big hands less but I feel I must have been running pretty good to be above 5BB so I need a large sample size from someone that is up over the 100+K mark.

HAND WSD% %Hands
High 17.81 25.81
One Pair 33.09 44.27
Two Pair 44.51 18.25
TOK 61.18 3.88
Straight 69.44 3.45
Flush 83.33 2.16
Full House 89.86 2.02
FOAK 100 0.15

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the wrong stats to be focusing on, but those look pretty normal. If you really want to improve and figure out if you are doing something wrong, you should post things like VPIP, PFR, WTSD, W$@SD, and of course most importantly post sample hands of your play in difficult situations.

Looks like you might have a few more bad beats than would be typical, so that is some of it. My biggest concern would be that you say you don't have as much confidence. It is hard to make the right plays without confidence in what you are doing, so that is the first thing I would address ... figuring out how to bring the .25/.50 confidence to your .50/1.00 game.

Big reason I'm looking at those number are more to see if I'm running bad first not to anaylze my play yet. I don't want to start second guessing my play until i can check to see if that cards are just not helping me out. I don't see a huge difference in skill betwen the 0.5 and 1 so I'm guessing its just bad luck but have to make sure.

Example when i compare my 0.25-0.5 to 0.5-1 i see that I'm missing the board more (3.5% more high card) less (2% two pair, %0.5 tok, %0.5str, %0.3 flush, %0.1 fh).Now those are not big percentages but over 12K that is alot of pot equity lost.

The other comparison I'm looking at is SD especially for big hands example my SD% example:

High Card is more %7 (approx 5 hands @ min 6BB) = 30BB
One Pair is 3% less (approx 12 hands @ min 6 BB) = -72BB
Two Pair is 5.5% less (approx 18 hands @ min 7BB) = -126 BB
Three of Kind is 8.5% less (approx 7 hands @ min 7BB) = -49BB
Straight is %12 less (approx 8 hands @ min 7BB) = -56BB
Flush is 4% more (approx 3 hands @ min 10BB) = 30BB
Fullhouses SD is 3.5% less (approx 3 hands @ 14BB) = -42BB

Total: -285BB

Obviously these are just huge rough estimates especially since its compared to a sample data of 60K and of lower limit which i was probably running good. But it does give and indication of bad cards. That is why i was looking for some higher samples for and some SD% from the same limit.

Xanadu: Yeah I'm working on the confidence, I have been reviewing all my hands from the day previous which helps show me that I'm making the right play (IMO) most of the time. Plus just winning will help!
